School Girl

It seems like eternity since I posted, like two weeks even. It’s just reflective of my crazy, crazy days at present…made up of work, sleep deprivation, renovating and putting our house on the market, raising two children. I’m yet to master that thing called multitasking. Where Is My Mind, indeed.
I have lots to share, I’m so excited to show off the incredibly gorgeous Ruby off to school, oh where oh where has my little girl gone oh where oh where can she be…. Here she is in her school uniform.. Im full of mixed emotions excited for her yet sad for me…Letting go not any easy task to do and also the absence will be hard on Claudie Loo.

Week forever… with my adorable, spoilt, bored, demanding, wonderful offspring. The weeks leading up to school have gone so quickly but a little like a fast labor, not necessarily less exhausting or noisy. Don’t get me wrong, I love that till now we don’t have to do the school routine thing, no homework, no uniforms, but its all about to begin ahhhhh…Routine scares me as Im not that good at being somewhere on time..We’ve had some really nice time together amongst the chaos and noise..waterparks, mount tambourine and beach visits.. Even our low key days have started out as fun with the pool and needing to be nowhere. Some parts I’ve thoroughly enjoyed. But the endless washing, the non-stop bickering and pest fest.. along with the ordering of 23 snacks a day? And not to mention picking up after 2 madams constantly all day drives me insane as does them making beds in every possible corner of my house with all my linen and fifty teddys….cute ..hmmm to begin with now ..Not so much. I’m fantasizing about dropping them both at the school gate 72 hours early. And saying please take the little one too …I forgot to enrol her..teehee

Marveling.......

How can one child look so sweet yet behave so well, not?

For her frequent misdemeanors she has a get out clause that claims ”its not me its Ruby ”, batting her eyelashes at her dad and usually kicking Bella at the same time.

So, her unashamed obsession with putting on her own clothes and make up makes my heart sing and it’s true, she does so sweetly whisper I love you one hundred times a day and gives out the most adorable bear hugs one thousand times a day ....but there’s no denying it – Claudie is not for the faint hearted. We’re all a tad nervous that the three year old is well and truly in charge.
Advice, legal or otherwise, gratefully accepted.

Well today my muse was kobi rose gander, she is 15 days old and just totally squidgable. I had a wee play with her and my lens and the results are lovely...u forget so quickly how little little babys are to be around when you are used to robust toddlers jumpin on you at any given moment,.. so so little and I must say she even makes me feel semi clucky again...... not enuf to go back there tho ..calm down daddy :P
